As part of project B-40416, C&R Construction undertook a comprehensive bridge deck replacement and reinforced concrete arch rehabilitation in Harrison County. The project supported the structural integrity of a reinforced concrete arch originally built in 1937. The work involved removal and replacement of deteriorated sections of the arch to ensure long-term functionality and safety. This bridge is located over Crandall Branch Creek.
Under project R-37942 in Crawford County, C&R Construction completed 10 miles of asphalt resurfacing on SR66 extending from SR62 into Marengo. The project also included bridge deck overlays on two bridges over Brandywine Creek, utilizing hydro demolition techniques and silica fume-modified concrete to enhance durability.
